Q: Where is the ice rink?
A: The Ice Rink is located in Victoria Park, entrance is at the Pleasureland roundabout near park and ride.

Q: Where can I park?
A: There is park and ride available over the road, use post code PR8 1RX, Esplande entrance to Victoria Park.

Q: Where are the nearest public toilets?
A: On site next to the ice rink

Q: How do we buy our tickets?

Q: How long do the sessions last?
A: Sessions aim to start on the hour and last 45 minutes. Please arrive 30 minutes before your session allowing time to collect your boots and put them on.

Q: Is skate hire included in the ticket price?
A: Yes!
​
Q: Can I bring my own skates?
A: Yes, of course you can! Please make sure that they are in good condition, and that you have fitted them properly before skating.

Q: Should we book ahead?
A: There are limited numbers allowed on the ice per hourly session, so we advise you to book ahead to avoid disappointment. You can turn up to any session without booking - if it's full, we'll just book you on to the next available one.

Q: Is it real ice?
A: Yes! This is a real ice rink - not artificial.

Q: What should we wear?
A: The ice rink is inside a heated marquee, but it maybe cold, so wear suitable clothing. We suggest you wear thick socks and gloves. For your own safety we advise all skin must be covered, please dress appropriately, we advise against wearing flowing scarves and dresses.

Q: Are children allowed on the ice rink alone?
A: Children aged 4-8 must be accompanied by an adult on the ice and supervised on the ice at all times (1 adult can supervise up to 2 children of this age). Children aged 9-15 must be supervised at least rink-side by an adult (1 adult can supervise up to 6 children of this age). Children aged 4 and under are not permitted on the ice rink.

Q: Are there skating aids available for hire?
A: Yes, polar bear skating aids are available to hire at the rink. They are suitable for all ages and cost £5.00 per session

Q: What if I book ahead and then can't make the session?
A: Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable (at the discretion of management), so please be sure before you book your tickets.

Q: What if I'm late for my session?
A: All sessions start on the hour, and we advise you to arrive at least 30 minutes early to give you enough time to walk to the ice rink and collect your skates. If you arrive late this will disrupt your total time on the ice and oyu session will still finish at the planned time.

Q: What if I've lost my ticket?
A: Tickets must be kept very safe as we cannot re-issue lost tickets. Entry will not be granted to those without a valid ticket

Q: Can I bring the dog?
A: Yes we welcome well behaved dogs and they are allowed in our bar / coffee shop only and must be on a lead

Q: Is there anywhere I can get food and a drink by the ice rink?
A: Only food & drink purchased on site can be consumed, we will be serving some amazing food so why not come and dine with us.

Q: I am currently planning my works Christmas party. Can I book the rink for exclusive use?
A: Yes you can hire the rink for your exclusive use please email info@nwmh.co.uk
